Non-Bio Parents Support Group:
Starts March 24, 2010
This group provides affirmation and validation for queer parents living life beyond the biological. Topics of discussion will include internal struggles, relationship dynamics and dealing with extended family.
Facilitated by Rebekah Skoor.
Non-bio parents group is $90 for Six Sessions on Wednesdays, 7:00 - 8:30pm
March 24, April 7 and 21, May 5 and 19, June 2.

Queer Conception
Support Group:

In the process of making a baby and looking for community? In this group we will explore this dynamic, multifaceted experience unique to queer folks of all genders. Feel a little less alone on the roller coaster ride of insemination. MAIA Midwife Kristin Kali will offer insights, tips on insemination timing and more.
Meets every 3rd Sunday from 5:00 to 6:30pm. Open to current MAIA clients only.
Please RSVP by 3:00pm on the Friday prior to the meeting date by remitting payment via the Register Link below. Support Group meetings are $15 per person.

Single Prospective Moms
Creating a family as a solo parent can be both an empowering and a solitary experience. This group will bring together strong, amazing women to share hopes and fears, dreams and desires. Whether you are currently inseminating, in the process of adoption, or weighing your options for how to become a parent, this group is for you. Come join with other women in the process of welcoming a child into their lives, find a community of support with others on the same path.
Each Session consists of 6 meetings, 90 minutes in length. Partial scholarships are available for those in need. Sessions are $90/per person.
Winter 2010 Session: already in progress - started February 2, 2010
Six Tuesday Evenings 7:00 - 8:30pm
February 2, 9, 23 - March 9, 23 - April 6

Gender and Pregnancy Discussion Group
No matter where you are on the gender spectrum, the prospect of becoming pregnant, or getting your partner pregnant, brings to light issues relating to gender. This group provides a context to explore the internal experience of gender, and the interplay of inward and outward gender expression.
