Phone & In-Office Consultations
We offer phone and in-office consultations,
providing complete step-by-step instruction and advice to women
in any stage of the process. We send you forms and handouts prior
to our phone time so that you can have visuals to work with. We
recommend 90 minute initial appointments, tailoring this time
to your specific needs. Our consultations are geared towards helping
you to get pregnant as swiftly and comfortably as possible, regardless
of the means or method.
These consultations include:
- In-depth fertility awareness instruction
- Charting instruction
- Fertility optimization
- Known donor negotiation information
- Sperm bank tips
- Increasing insemination effectiveness
- Info on optimizing fertility
- General and specific step-by-step guidance
15 minute consultations (current
clients only): $50
30 minute consultation: $90
45 minute consultation: $135
60 minute consultation: $170
90 minute initial consultation:

Chart Review (for current clients
only): $35
Pager Fee: $35 per returned
page. Please note our Holiday Rate of $50
per returned pages between 12/16/06 - 1/2/07.

Fee Structure & Chart Review
MAIA's fees are calculated to include three
months of chart review. As a MAIA client, you have the option
of faxing, mailing, or emailing your charts and questions to us
for the midwive's review during her weekly chart review. This
is a complimentary service for three months after your initial
pre-conception consultation. After the first three months, it
is necessary to book a follow-up consultation every three months
in order to continue with this service. Should you choose not
to book a consultation three months after your initial consultation,
there will be a fee for each chart reviewed until another consultation
is made, when you will again receive three months of complimentary
chart review.
Clients will make best use of MAIA's services by having consultations
every three months, as information offered during chart review
builds on insights gathered from your initial consultation and
current charts being reviewed. Reconnecting through a consultation
will keep you and your unique needs fresh in the midwive's mind.
This can be as brief as a 15 minute phone chat to a more formal
office visit. At MAIA, we feel that continuity is important. Keeping
regular consultations and utilizing the complimentary chart review
services will increase your chances of getting pregnant quickly,
ultimately reducing your over-all costs.
As a MAIA client, you also have the option of paging the midwives
when they are in town if you have an urgent question outside of
a consultation. There is a fee for this service, and she will
return pages as she is able.
MAIA is commited to making our services
accesible to all. Payment plans and other forms of financial assistance
are available for low-income families.
