Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians
and Gays promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian,
bisexual and transgendered persons, their families and friends
through support to cope with an adverse society; education, to
enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy to end discrimination
and to secure equal civil rights. Parents, Families and Friends
of Lesbians and Gays provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual
orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society
that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.
The mission of the Family Pride Coalition is to advance the well-being
of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered parents and their
families through mutual support, community collaboration, and
public understanding.
We believe that women have the right to control their own
reproduction and in doing so, determine if, when and how to achieve
pregnancy. The Sperm Bank of California (TSBC) is for all women,
regardless of race, ethnicity, marital status, or sexual orientation.
Women with infertile partners, single women, and lesbian couples
participate.
We are the first sperm bank in North America to actively recruit
Gay and Bisexual sperm donors. Whether Gay, Bisexual or Heterosexual,
our donors wish to have children in their lives but do not wish
to raise children. (Or, some men who already have children do
not wish to raise more children.)
COLAGE is the only national
and international organization in the world specifically supporting
young people with gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender parents.
National Center for Lesbian
Rights
NCLR is the nation's legal center with a primary commitment to
advancing the rights and safety of lesbians and their families
through a program of litigation, public policy advocacy, free
legal advice and counseling, and public education. In addition,
NCLR provides representation and resources to gay men, and bisexual
and transgendered individuals on key issues that also significantly
advance lesbian rights.
The midwives of At Home Fertility Services provide personalized
care and support during the conception process to women and families
in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. At Home honors women's
self-knowledge and intuition in developing individualized insemination
plans and aids in implementing women's vision for the first moments
of a child's life.

The Transgender Law Center (TLC)
is a civil rights organization advocating for transgender communities.
Every day we connect transgender people and their families to
technically sound and culturally competent legal services, increase
acceptance and enforcement of laws and policies that support California's
transgender communities, and work to change laws and systems that
fail to incorporate the needs and experiences of transgender people.
