through support to cope with an adverse society; education, to
enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy to end discrimination
and to secure equal civil rights. Parents, Families and Friends
of Lesbians and Gays provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual
orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society

and international organization in the world specifically supporting

 National Center for Lesbian
Rights
NCLR is the nation's legal center with a primary commitment to
advancing the rights and safety of lesbians and their families
through a program of litigation, public policy advocacy, free
legal advice and counseling, and public education. In addition,
NCLR provides representation and resources to gay men, and bisexual
and transgendered individuals on key issues that also significantly
advance lesbian rights.

 Transgender Law Center
The Transgender Law Center (TLC)
is a civil rights organization advocating for transgender communities.
Every day we connect transgender people and their families to
technically sound and culturally competent legal services, increase
acceptance and enforcement of laws and policies that support California's
transgender communities, and work to change laws and systems that

 At Home Fertility
The midwives of At Home Fertility Services provide personalized
care and support during the conception process to women and families
in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. At Home honors women's
self-knowledge and intuition in developing individualized insemination
plans and aids in implementing women's vision for the first moments
of a child's life.

Since our founding in 1982, we have been dedicated to promoting an open approach to donor insemination and advocating for family diversity. Our Identity-Release® Program is the oldest program in the world that allows adult children conceived by donor insemination to learn their donor's identity. Our roots are in the 1980’s feminist women's health movement and our philosophy is that recipients should feel empowered to take control of their insemination process.
